My pilot was accepted to “In the TV Writers’ Room with Meredith Stiehm and Lisa Zwerling” at Hedgebrook!
I’m thrilled to announce the my pilot for Se7en Deadly SEALs has been accepted into the master class at Hedgebrook.
I wrote a TV pilot for my best selling serial, Se7en Deadly SEALs. It has over half a million views and is the #2 IP on the fiction app Radish.
This is a dream come true for me, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to learn from these amazing women.
In the TV Writers’ Room with Meredith Stiehm and Lisa Zwerling
A workshop for aspiring one-hour Drama Writers.
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
The television writer’s room is where the creativity happens: story ideas get hashed out on whiteboards, character arcs get mapped on post-its, and the writing team collaborates to plan a season.
If you want to experience what it’s like inside the writer’s room – and you have a TV series or pilot idea you’re developing – this class is an unprecedented opportunity to spend a week in “Hedgebrook’s writers’ room” with two seasoned television writers. Meredith and Lisa will lead you and four other writers through full group workshops to develop your ideas and hold constructive one-on-one mentoring sessions to help you hone your pilot’s first act.
You should come with ideas about what your full series will be and a draft (or solid beginning) of your pilot. Be prepared to read your peer’s first acts, participate in all-room meetings, with free time built in for writing, rewriting and being in retreat.
